Pedagogical approach

Our pedagogical approach is project-driven. The trainee will be able to acquire knowledge and practice in parallel in order to master the technical concepts taught.


Course Syllabus


Day 1 Introduction to Metaverse basics and Web 3.0

The first day of training will allow  learners to:

  1. Understand the objectives of this training by delivering a Course Summary
  2. Learn how they can Install Unreal Engine & Account Setup
  3. Have an Unreal Engine Overview and Resources
  4. Have a quick overview of the Web History and Limitations of Web 2.0
  5. Learn more about Web 3.0 and its benefits
  6. To understand the sens of metaverse as a concept
  7. To master the Metaverse basic concepts
  8. To understand the link between those concepts : Metaverse/ Blockchain Technology/ Extended Reality/Tokens/Crypto
  9. To learn How metaverse works
  10. To learn more about examples of Metaverse







Day 2 Unreal Engine Introduction

The second day allows learners to : 

  1. Start a project using a base template 
  2. Get content from the Marketplace and Quixel Bridge 
  3. Import data using Datasmith and FBX 
  4. Place, transform, and duplicate assets to create an environment
  5. Create a basic terrain and sculpt with terrain editing tools
  6. Add foliage with the Foliage Paint and editing tools
  7. Create and apply simple materials
  8. Light an exterior scene

Day 3 Twinmotion Basics

The 3rd day allows learners to master the  import 3D content into Twinmotion. Embellish the scene by adding GIS surroundings, compelling materials, animated characters, vehicles, and vegetation to populate and bring life to their environment.

At the end of this day learns will be able to:

  1. Link or import data between your DCC app and Twinmotion
  2. Explore Twinmotion’s User Interface
  3. Explore and use Twinmotion’s library to add assets like cars, animated characters, and PBR Materials
  4. Add more context by adding GIS data and HDRI skydomes
  5. Add context with landscapes, vegetation, and pools of water
  6. Explore Path Animation


Day 4 Twinmotion Advanced Tools

The 4th Day allows learners to Learn to use tools to better interact with their  project. Learn to light the scene at night and how to store their  own light fixtures. Discover how to output and distribute their end results using still images, panoramas, videos, and stand-alone Presenter files.

At the end of this day learns will be able to:

  1. Work with Twinmotion's helper tools such as Animators, Section Cubes, Notes, and Measure
  2. Work with lighting for daytime and nighttime scenarios
  3. Combine meshes and light sources to create your own custom light fixtures
  4. Output media such as still images, panoramas, and videos
  5. Explore Phasing to simulate different stages of a building construction
  6. Use Presenter to create a stand-alone collection of the media you have already saved for distribution



Day 5 Production & Pitching

The last day of the training will be dedicated to the realization of a project in which all the concepts taught during the previous days will be applied. Participants will validate their projects during a pitching and evaluation se
